Action Network is the premier destination for sports betting enthusiasts, both for placing bets and the news and data needed to place smarter bets. So when they needed headshots and promo photos for a group of their on-air personalities, they turned to Denver Headshot Co. Not to overdo the sports analogies, but together we knocked it out of the park.

Client Goals:
Action Network needed images that were light and fun and really showcased the personality of their online talent. They wanted full and half body images along with some traditional headshots with the goal of being able to replace the background for web and video graphics.
Photographer’s Creative Vision:
I knew that this wasn’t at all going to be “your banker’s headshot session” and wanted the atmosphere in the studio to reflect the feel we were going for in the images: light and fun…and just a little bit wild. We had hip-hop music on the speakers and Action Network employees laughing and hanging out in the studio, sipping a soda and cheering on their colleagues. I threw all my dignity out the window as I tried to get as many expressions, poses, and genuine laughs as I could out of the person in front of my camera. I used my knowledge of posing for performers to encourage body language that would clearly read in graphics when you’re scrolling through YouTube thumbnails. It truly felt like a party!
